The School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences has very kindly donated
the space for the exhibition. Their sim is currently in the early stages
of construction, but does already include a sandbox on site :)

Many many thanks to all of you over the years who supported the exhibition
by buying the books. This helped me pay the tier on Daydream SE Islands,
where the old exhibition was :)))

Now I will not be having to pay a tier all books in the new reading
room/bookstore are completely free.

I hope you and your students find this new resource useful.

Hi Clive!,

Your 'walk-around' tutorial is excellent and has given me the jump off into LSL that i was looking for...

I only have one suggestion, and that would be to put a sand box in the middle of the room..so that residents can have a practise at the things you suggest....would make the place social as well!

New Book Published Today

I have spent the Christmas holiday developing LSL Book 4. This book is a complete project to help you further your knowledge of Linden Script. The boxed set also includes the final product, called a response object, which forms the basis of a flexible, innovative, extensible, group voting and planning application. All items in the boxed set have full copy/give away permissions.

Various Updates to the Exhibition

I have recently made the following changes to the LSL Exhibition:

1) Removed the poofer - it was going off of it's own accord
2) Increased the price of the books to help offset my land costs
3) Corrected a typo on poster 20 - thanks to Jaden Piaggio for pointing it out!
4) Added teleports between the exhibition and the bookstore
5) Added a tip jar - not sure about the default animation though!

One possible idea: I'm a hands-on learner but your property isn't a sandbox so I can't create an object to script as I learn. Would it be possible to allow learners to do so? If not, the next best thing is that you do allow us to copy the script in noteca
